He was predeceased by: his daughter Wanda D. Peters; his grandson Aaron Carmichael; his parents, Z. G. Davis and Beatrice Hall Davis; and his siblings, J. C. Davis, Doyle Davis, Otis Davis, Bill Davis, Morris Davis, Christine Smith Crowder, Shelby Jefferson, Etta Davis and Robert Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Ronna Davis; his children, Lamar Davis (Dana) and Teresa Dekle (Whit); his grandchildren, Hannah Davis, Hayden Davis (Tristyn), Jessica Quiles (Jordan), Kirsten Carmichael (Justin) and Will Dekle; his great grandchildren, Braden Osborne, Hudson Davis, Jayden Quiles, Tripp Caudle, Collins Caudle and Parker Caudle; and his sister Sylvia Coyle. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Magnolia Baptist Church (150 Upper Bozeman Rd, Lapine, AL 36046).
