She was predeceased by: her husband Earl S. Young; her parents, W. R. Looney and Helen Looney; and her siblings, William Looney Jr, James Looney Sr. and Rebecca Sloane.

She is survived by: her children, James Looney (Carolyn), Amanda Hawkins (Gary), Mark Grier (JoAnn), Brian Looney (Wendy) and Stephanie Irvine (Earl). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Perry Hill Road Baptist Church.
