She is survived by: her daughters, Freda Williams (Roger) of Lanett, AL and Lavaria Griggs (Tedius) of Valley, AL; her grandchildren, Rodericus Booker (Shereka) of Lanett, AL, Freriquz Williams (Michelle) of Lanett, AL, Vintavious Booker of Lanett, AL, Latishia Booker of West Point, GA, JaWann Booker (Arnetia) of LaGrange, GA and Tedius Griggs, Jr. of Valley, AL; her great grandchildren, Romesha Booker, Fredarious Williams, Markevious Booker, Rodericus Booker, Jr., Kyra Winston, Kintavious Dozier, ZaKaliee Dozier, Ayshunteuntae Booker, Vintavious Booker, Jada Booker, Jordan Booker, M'Kynzie Booker, Madisyn Booker, Mason Booker, MiAngel Booker, Patrick Booker, Eliana Booker and Abigail Booker; her great great grandchildren, Cameron Booker and Wynter Booker; her siblings, Loiuse Bryant (Sam) of Valley, AL, Mack Gates (Brenda) of Valley, AL, George Gates (Teresa) of Valley, AL, Ann Gates Pitts of Buffalo, NY and Jessie Gates of Buffalo, NY; her brother-in-law Bobby Stiggers (Phyllis) of Lanett, AL; her nieces, Valerie Patterson and Dr. Tanda Canion; and her close friends, Thelma Reed, Glady Hill and Cynthia Barrow. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). The lying in state was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church (1601 Magnolia Rd, Lanett, AL 36863). A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Pine Hill Cemetery (2167 22nd St SW, Lanett, AL 36863).
