It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wanda Lynn Laney Moncus of Lanett, Alabama, born in LaFayette, Alabama, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Laney and Faye Laney; her brother Donnie Laney; and her grandson Dallas Moncus. She is survived by: her husband Scott Moncus; her children, Ryan Moncus, Brandon Moncus (Jayme) and Brooke Peters (Brad); her grandchildren, Braydon Moncus, Camden Moncus, Abby Kate Peters, Knox Moncus, Emma Moncus, Laney Brooke Peters, Annie Beth Peters, Case Peters, Crew Peters, Lettie Mae Peters and Hagen Moncus; her siblings, Bobby Laney (Sandy), Donna Jackson (Bill) and Rhonda Terry (Brad); and her nieces and nephews, Gareth Laney, Ben Jackson, Morgan Jackson, Clint Jackson, Caleb Jackson, Ellie Jackson, Allie Jackson, Izzy Jackson, Colby Terry, Courtney Arsenault, Chloe Bridges, Autumn Laney and Tiffany Laney.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Spring Road Christian Church (1729 Spring Rd, Lanett, AL 36863). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
