With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Hester Askew in Lanett, Alabama, who passed away on April 25, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Thomas H. Askew, III (Shelby) and Brandi Askew Fincher (Terry); her great-grandparents, Jaime Damiano (Tyler), Dallas Quinton (Brittney), Adelaide Wright (Lincoln), Hayden Quinton and Kaylin Fincher; her great grandchildren, Rowynn, Jackson, Stella, Stevie, Rylee and Bentley; her brother Ennis Hester (Pam); her husband Thomas H. Askew, Jr.; her parents, Bud Hester and Sara Hester; and her brother Lyn Hester.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson Memorial Gardens (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854).
