She is survived by: her children, Deborah Mitchell (John) of Auburn and Jason Holloway (Marcia) of Carrolton; her grandchildren, Jason Todd Holloway, Jr., Bailey Raughton (Cody) and Lola Grossman; her great grandchildren, Austyn Raughton and John Griffen Raughton; and her siblings, Jimmy Messer of Lanett, Jerome Messer of Alexander City, Jimmie Messer, Jr. of Orlando, Peter Messer of Orlando, Christina Messer of Orlando and Crystal Messer of Daytona, Florida..
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, closed services were held for the immediate family on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home in Valley, Alabama and internment was held at Oakwood Cemetery in Lanett, Alabama.
