She was predeceased by: her parents, Dera Patterson and Denson Kent; her stepfather Sim Guy Patterson; her brothers, Guy Patterson and Jimmy Patterson; and her great grandchild Barrett Caldwell.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Gerald Burt Sr.; her children, Joe Austin, Terry Austin, Thomas Gerald Burt Jr. (Jennifer), Pamela Howard (Ronnie) and Tanya Lasha Page (Scottie); her grandchildren, Hanna Austin Salter (Chris), Wesley Austin, Matthew Austin (Bre), Kenzly Austin, Nora Austin, Cash Austin, David Heiser, Kyrie McCartney, Anthony McCartney, Justin McCartney, Stephen Caldwell, Brandon Caldwell, Jonathan Caldwell, Jaelynn Howard, Rummer Howard, Dru Basy (Heydi), Sabrina Page and Ava Page; and her siblings, Richard Patterson (Donna), Johnny Patterson and Mary Jane Phelps. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Valley-Point Funeral Home & Cremation (1011 N Lanier Ave, Lanett, AL 36863). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at the same location.
