She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Mitchell and Laura Reese Mitchell; her siblings, Lee Anna, Essie Mae, Laura Mae, Willie Joe and Bobbie; and her friend Juanita Hicks.
She is survived by: her son Terry Chappell of Lanett, AL; her granddaughter Tameka Morgan of Alpharetta, GA; her niece Barbara Lovelace (late Raymond) of Lanett, AL; her nephew Homer McCullough (Carol) of Ferndale, MI; her children, Zelda Patterson (Napoleon) of Valley, AL and Donald Holloway of Lanett, AL; her cousins, Dorothy "Mutt" Moore of Valley, AL and Iverria Henderson of Atlanta, GA; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Venessa Miller, Minister Debora McCarden (Anthony), Miranda Darden, Reomaya Lockhart (Timothy), Andrea McCullough, Geneva McCullough, Gregory Mitchell, Jr., Kenyetta Alexander and Damien Mitchell; her close friends, Sentevella Howard, Marietta Flakes and Danner Smith; and her family, Lisa Truitt James and Barbara Thompson. She is also survived by other great-great nieces and nephews, grandchildren, cousins, relatives, and other friends.
