With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Muriel Gunn Hamby of Lanett, Alabama, who passed away on October 7, 2020 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alver Turner Gunn, Jr. and Evelyn Colson Gunn Elliott; her stepmother Virginia Moncus Gunn; and her sisters, Dee Dee Gunn Hanners, Patty Gunn and Janie Moncus Hibbs.
She is survived by: her children, Paula (David Flagg), Niki Hamby (Kevin Henson) and John; her daughter-in-law Lisa Stephens of LaGrange; her former husband O'Neal Hamby; her siblings, Bubba Gunn (Kathy), Pete Gunn, Michael Moncus, Timothy and Nancy Moncus; and her grandmother Moncus Helms of LaGrange. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
