He was predeceased by: his parents, John Morgan and Lila Murfee Schuessler; his sons, John Morgan Schuessler and Sam Enloe Schuessler; and his brother John Schuessler.
He is survived by: his grandmothers, Enloe Schuessler and Swann Haverty; and his son Morgan McQueen Schuessler, Jr.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
