It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marcellus Potts of Lanett, Alabama, who passed away on June 5, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepson Anrika White; and his aunts and uncles, Mary Louis Potts, Hannah Boyd, Gussie Perry, Louisa Burton, Alfred Potts, Lee Potts and Elias Potts.
He is survived by: his brother Arthur; his niece Alyssa Jeffreys of Wetumpka, AL; his brother Frank Wright, Jr. (Shirley); his cousins, Gary Wright (Brenda) of Lanett, AL, Janice Burton of Lanett, AL, Zonnie Henderson of Lanett, AL and Israel White of Lanett, AL; his close friend Ruby Todd; his stepson Michael Todd; his stepgranddaughter LaDonna White; and his friend Rev. Leonard Autry.
