She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Sorrells and Della Mae Sorrells. She is survived by: her son David Watson (Diane); her grandchildren, Lynn Watson and Nichole Watson; her great grandchildren, Niles McCants, Jasia McCants and Nik Watson; her siblings, Mildred Tittle (Olin), Martha Watson, Linda Davis (Edward), E. R. "Babe" Sorrells and James Sorrells (Ramona); her close friend Cecil Turner; her husband Robert Watson; her grandson Lee Watson; and also Louise.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel (3700 20th Ave, Valley, AL 36854).
