It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lillian Moore Newman of Lanett, Alabama, who passed away on September 1, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Moore (Ed) and Mary Moore of Lanett, Alabama.; her husband James G. Newman; and her siblings, James Moore (Zeke), Bettey Danford, Juanita Pike, Mildred Spradlin and Shirley Carter.
She is survived by: her sister Julis Kassis (Abraham); her son David Newman (Sharon) of Opelika, Alabama; her grandchildren, Tara Campbell (Shane), Amanda Hudson (Sean) and Tyler Newman; and her great grandchildren, Zach Hudson and John Fuller. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis TN in memory of Christopher Adams.
