She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Peavy and Mamie Sands Peavy; her husband Louis Ivey, Jr.; and her siblings, Raymond Peavy, Wadis Peavy, Lewis Peavy, Henry Peavy, Willie James Peavy and Julia Mae Cooper.
She is survived by: her daughter Beulah E. Heard; her sister Jewell Webb (Edward); and her grandchildren, Muriel A. Heard Collier (Roger), Chiquita L. Heard, Ralph E. Heard, Jr. and Markis E. Heard. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
