He was predeceased by: his parents, Luevenia Barker Barnes and John Lee Reed, Sr.; his siblings, Willie George Barnes, Melvin Barnes, Martha Mitchell and Tammy Brown; and his daughter Amanda Reed.
He is survived by: his children, Wendy Archible (Jerome) of Garner, NC, Sandy Reed, Starlett Ross and Eldred Reed (Adria) of Fisher, IN; his grandchildren, Robtavious Reed (Kimberley) of Gainesville, GA, Shantoria Reed of Fisher, IN, Tyler Reed (Monet) of Fisher, IN, NJ of Fisher, IN, Alvontrey James of Fisher, IN, Zuri Reed of Fisher, IN, Collin Reed of Fisher, IN and Rylin Reed of Fisher, IN; his brother Tony Barnes (Betty) of Lanett, AL; his aunt Ocie Barker of Lanett, AL; and his sister-in-law Sheila Barnes of Lanett, AL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
