We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2024, James Terry Cotney of Lanett, Alabama, born in LaFayette, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Faye Cotney and J. T. Cotney. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Jones Cotney of Lanett; his daughter Rachel Cotney (Monty Walsh) of Valley; his pet Bella; his sister Ann McLendon (Robert) of Virginia Beach; his nephews, Jeremy McLendon (Tiffany) and Bradley Jones (Taylor); his niece Brittany Jones (Preston Nichols); and his aunts, Betty Brown, Sarah Bradley, Marie Daniel, Evelyn Wagner, Barbara Roberts and Leta Roberts.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in Terry's name to Paws Humane Society, 4900 Milgen Road, Columbus, GA 31907.
