It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaynor Mitchell (Lanett, Alabama), who passed away on October 14, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Colley and Maggie Lois Smith Colley; and her siblings, Eleanor Shepherd, Alicia Greene, Willanne Colley, Nevile Colley, Jim Arthur Colley, Jerome Colley and Larmie Colley.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Robert Mitchell; her daughters, Shelia Fuller (Todd) of Lanett and Cynthia Gunn of Lanett; her grandchildren, Alicia Gunn, Ashley Bond (T. J.), Kimberly Carter (Chad), Suzanne Carter (Jaren), Amanda Slay (Tyler), Stephanie Fuller and Danielle Fuller; her great grandchildren, Adalyn Carter, Catherine Carter and Benjamin Todd Slay; her siblings, Kathleen East (Paul), Beverly McClelland, Aulcie Colley, Deborah Archuleta (Archie), Tedric Colley (Jackie), Beric Colley (Melanie), Donita Walls (Gary) and Alisa Walls (Frank); and her sister-in-law Sandra Colley. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
