She was predeceased by: her former husband Fred Pierce; and also Pinkney Andrew "Pink" Minton. She is survived by: her brother Pinkney; her children, Willie, Lucille, Roy, Viva, Paul, Pinkney, Frankie and Nila Pierce Swann (Jack W. Swann); her nephew Larry Brackett (Mary); and her son Brian Pierce of Bakersfield, CA. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great, great grandchildren.
