He was predeceased by: his father David Hawkins; his wife Patsy Hawkins; and his daughters, Amy and Pamela Hawkins. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Heather Hadaway; his grandchildren, Amy and A. J. Hadaway; his brother Kevin Hawkins (Nunnie); and his sister-in-law Pam Brown (Jimmy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
