It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cornelia Ware Morgan of Lanett, Alabama, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ram Ware and Mattie Ware; her aunt Lottie Norman; her daughter Cornelia "C. D." Morgan; and her son-in-law Bobby L. Truitt Jr. Mrs.
She is survived by: her children, Sawanda Morgan Truitt, Kevin Morgan, Rev. Prince H. Morgan III and Kelli Huguley; her grandchildren, Shequita Morgan, Dervoski Morgan, Tywanda Morgan, Yashameka Summers (Octavious), Arneishia Morgan, Jessica Boozer (Greg), Clifford McClure Jr., Nia'Shicka Bledsoe, Waltavious Huguley, Kordelros Morgan, Kelvonte Morgan, Deneilia Douglas (Sheldon) and Danyelle Morgan; and her close friend Mary Potts. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
