She was predeceased by: her husband J. B. Duplechin; her parents, Berchman Guidry and Verna Richard Guidry; her siblings, Francis, Wallace "Buck", Clyde Guidry, Roberta Guillot and Corine Romain; and her brother-in-law Paul Guilbeau.
She is survived by: her children, Carrol James Duplechin (Connie) of Church Point, Martha Nero (Ken) of Duson and Pam Albarado (Joe) of Lafayette; her sisters, Vivian Guilbeau of Scott, Maudrie Romero of Carencro, Ann Hebert (Errol) of Milton and Barbara Prudhomme (Bobby) of Dade City, FL; her grandchildren, Danny, Jody, Todd, Shawn Terro, Christopher Duplechin, Kerry Benoit and Kim Benoit; her sisters-in-law, Melba Guidry of Carencro, Theresa Savoie and Neva Duplechin; and her grandson Barry Blanchard. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
