Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Vernon Hampton of Lafayette, Alabama, born in Brady, Texas, who passed away at the age of 86, on May 21, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Hampton, Sr. and Lottie Jo Rush Hampton; his son Kenneth Hampton; and his brothers, Dee Hampton, Jr. and Tom.
He is survived by: his wife Victory Whitt Hampton of Lafayette; his son Gregory Todd Hampton (Amy) of Lake Charles, LA; his brother Warren Wayne Hampton (Joy) of League City, TX; and his sister-in-law Kathy Hampton of Abilene, TX. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
With regards to the current pandemic, masks are required in the funeral home and social distancing is recommended in the cemetery.
