He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul William Ransom and Lilah Jean Spradlin Ransom; and his brother Bruce Ransom. He is survived by: his wife Lou Ransom of Lafayette; his children, Katrina Ransom of Charlotte, NC, Kimberly Ransom Gore (Robert) of Kenner, LA, Barry Ransom of Lafayette and Kera Ransom Stelly (Tony Glenn) of Lafayette; his stepchildren, Gayno Duhon of Scott, Kathy Jones (Geoff) of Lafayette and Sonja Duhon of Scott; his brother Danny Ransom of Rayville, LA; and his half-sister Shirley Parker of Paragould, AR. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
