He is survived by: his wife Haifa Abuhijleh of Lafayette; and his children, Mimi Qamhieh (Bilal) of Lafayette, Hebba Qamhiyeh (Nedal), Rima Elhelou (Othman) of Denver, CO and Hasan Abuhijleh (Trisha LeBlanc-Abuhijleh) of Lafayette. He is also survived by his nine brothers and two sisters; seventeen grandchildren; one great-grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.
