He was predeceased by: his parents, Adlar Joseph Hebert and Agatha "Aggie" Guidry; his brother Karlton; his niece Donna Mayeaux; and his nephew Quinn.
He is survived by: his sons, Chad (Stacy) of Rayne, Jude (Emma) of Haughton and Sean (Hope) of Youngsville; his wife Ella Dean; his sister Rachael of Lafayette; his grandchildren, Hunter, Heather, Hayden, Miki, Elise, Astin, Bailey, Camryn and Avery-Grace; and his great grandchild Sebastien Cabe-Maury.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Preston's name to Hospice of Acadiana in Lafayette.
