He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Shannon Wilson (Jeffrey) of Birmingham, AL, Stephanie Burton of Opelika, AL and Antonio Ellis of Birmingham, AL; his siblings, Charles Avery, Willie Avery, Matthew Avery, Larry Avery, Jerome Avery, Robert Avery (Rubyfaye), Cardell Avery, Mark Avery and Mary Ellen Avery (Carey Hall); his grandchildren, Abril Dawson, Tyre Hall and Jayla Blakes; and his great grandchildren, Karsyn Woodgett, Josiah McKenzie, London Hunter and Nakenzie Ragland. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
