She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Sims Sr.; her parents, Lewis Wilkerson and Mammie Wilkerson; her children, Robert C. Sims Jr. (Bobby), Thomas R. Sims and Charlotte Sims Pouncey; and her sisters, Doris Morris and Barbara Anthony.
She is survived by: her son Kenneth R. Sims (Joy); her grandchildren, Carol Brookshire, Robin Ferry, Tommy Sims, Timmy Sims, Blake Sims, Trent Sims, Lacey Ridens, Hayden Sims and Brandy Pouncey; and her niece Dot Powers. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
