We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2020, at the age of 89, Louis Roth Jr. of Lafayette, Alabama, born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Boissac Roth and Agnes Greely Roth; his daughter Cynthia Elizabeth Roth; and his sisters, Eunice Persick and Sally Delatte.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Donellan Roth of Lafayette; his children, Louis G. Roth (Pauline) of Lafayette, Russell "Rusty" Roth (Lori) of Marietta, GA, Stephen "Matt" Roth (Gerilyn) of Lafayette, Charles "Chuck" Roth of New Orleans, Melanie Roth Fachan (Greg) of Lafayette, Laurie Roth Pennington (Dennis) of Maurice and Jennifer "Winkie" Roth of Lafayette; and his siblings, Rosemary Lawless of Greenwell Springs, Rita McKee (Robert) of Baton Rouge, Bernice "Bunny" Roth of Seymour, MO and James Roth (Myrtle) of Baton Rouge. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
With regards to the most recent mandates of the current pandemic, social distancing and masks are required for all gatherings in the funeral home and in the cemetery.
