It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Wesley Williams of LaFayette, Alabama, who passed away on February 8, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosie Williams and Nannie Mae Williams of LaFayette, Alabama.; his great grandchild Brittany Bailey; and his siblings, Carrie Huguley, Lemerle Martin, Wheeler Boyd, Robert Martin and James Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Thomas Williams of Valley, Alabama; his children, Sonja Sands of Lanett, Alabama, Eric Bowen (Marnie) of Cleveland and Davern Williams of Montgomery, Alabama; his grandchildren, Audrey Gilliam (Terry) of West Point, Georgia, LaTonya Bailey of LaGrange, Danielle Bowen and Eric Bowen of Cleveland, Ohio; his great grandchildren, LeJade, LaKendra, Tiffany Floyd, Tyra Bailey and Cemoria Bailey (Molly); his great great grandchildren, Olivia Huguley, Tori Jae Perkins, Omari Jackson and Onyx Floyd; his siblings-in-law, Martha C. Shipman (Berry) of West Point, Georgia, Linda W.
