She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Slay and Lennie Slay; her husband Bill Barber; and her children, Alice Victoria Barber, Stacey and Tracey.
She is survived by: her siblings, Rebecca Meadows (Ralph) of Montgomery and Richard Slay (Martha) of Penton; her daughters, Charlotte Fulghum (Steve) and Cathy Joyner (Van); her grandchildren, Brandon Fulghum (Megan) of Tallassee, Tori Brinson (Chad) of Auburn, Ashley Young (Joe) of Winter Haven, Kelly Hurst (Adam) of LaFayette and Jared Joyner (Amber) of Lake Wales; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Brayden, Carson Joyner, Kennedy, Rylan, Everett Brinson, Hayden, Halle Hurst, Lily, Lila-Kate Fulghum, Maci, Presley and Stella Young.
