She was predeceased by: her parents, Veller Clanton and Beulah Clanton; her husbands, Thomas Lloyd Lowery and Henry Stripling; and her sister Betty Jean Higgins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Lowery Tucker (Mac) and Wanda Lowery Brown (Doug) of LaFayette; her grandchildren, Kyle Brown (Kellie), Manda Tucker (John) and Evan Tucker; her sister Ruby Nell Robertson; and her sister-in-law Louise Clanton.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to the Chattahoochee Hospice in Valley, Alabama.
