She was predeceased by: her husband John Rettig, Jr.; her son Stephen John Rettig (Debra Scadden); her parents, Frank Kubena and Marie Berger Kubena; and her siblings, Geri Wietkowski, James and Harvey Kubena.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Lauren Rettig; her nieces, Laveta, Mary Sue and Stephanie; and her nephew Leslie Wietkowski. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
