He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis L. King and Nellie L. King; and his siblings, Charlotte Porter, Ragan King of Lafayette and Brenda Paulette King.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Prestwood King of LaFayette; his children, Terri King Talley (Lamar) of LaFayette, Hennon Leon King, Jr. (JR), Lisa King Wheless (Russ) and Tanya King Waldrop (David) of Five Points; his great grandchildren, Hunter Phillips, Klancy Phillips, Clayton Phillips of LaFayette, Fowler Ennis of Lanett, Maddox Talley of Roanoke and Chaslyn Cannon of Valley; his children, C. D. and Caitlyn of Lanett; and also, April Talley Phillips (Josh) of LaFayette, Langley Jane King of Lanett, Bradley Talley (Kendall) of LaFayette, Ali Wheless of West Point, Georgia, Hope Cannon (Kylar) of Valley and Ann-Marie King Wheless of Troy. He is also survived by extended family includes a number of cousins, nieces, nephews; countless family friends.
