She was predeceased by: her parents, Dixon Allen Sr. and Catherine Sadler Allen; her husband Joe Jerrell; her son Robert "Bob" Brooks; and her siblings, Barbara Boothe, Judy Brooks and Dixon Allen Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Strong (Jerry) of Lineville; her grandchildren, Ryan and Krista Shaver; her great grandchildren, Tyra, Teilah Broughton and Tiana Heard; her siblings, Edna Rankin, Tommie West, Avie Phillips, Robert and James Allen; and her nephew Jon Rankin.
