He is survived by: his children, Christine Thomas (Jasper) of Opelika, AL, Randy Louis Pollard of New Zealand, Jerome Pollard of Opelika, AL, George Willie Pollard, Jr. of Opelika, AL and Katrina Ashford of Lanett, AL; his siblings, Georgia Pollard of Opelika, AL, John Pollard (Betty) of Opelika, AL, Roy Pollard (Liz) of Opelika, AL, Mary Madden (Steve) of Opelika, AL, Betty Pollard (Sylvester) of Opelika, AL, Yvonne Carr (Donald) of Loachapoka, AL, Andy Pollard (Shirley) of Lanett, AL, Albert Eiland, Dover Palmer of Opelika, AL, Martha Madden (James) of LaGrange, GA, Ardine Childs of Auburn, AL and Clarenea Thomas of Beauregard, AL; and his aunt Johnnie Mae Pollard of Opelika, AL. He is also survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel (612 M. L. King Drive SE, Lafayette, AL 36862). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at the Burrell Chapel AME Church (639 Lee Road 276, Cusseta, AL 36852).
