With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Franklin Paul Racz (Lafayette, Alabama), born in Painesville, Ohio, who passed away on October 19, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Racz and Jolan Marie Gyorok Racz; his children, Karen Sullivan and John David Racz; and his brother John Racz.

He is survived by: his wife Maywood Kelton Racz of Lafayette; his daughter Kay Lynn Racz Wilkerson (Jody L. Wilkerson) of Gulfport, MS; and his stepdaughter Margo Guillory (Byron Guillory) of Sunset. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and numerous dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Franklin's name to First Baptist Church of Lafayette: to FB Christian School or to the Prayer Blanket Ministry.
