He is survived by: his wife Alice Allemand Hymel of Lafayette; his children, Dwayne Hymel (Kim) of Lafayette, Susan Peltier (Lance) of Lafayette and Amy Stiffler (Jim) of Round Rock, TX; his brothers, Gerard Hymel (Clothilde) of Vacherie, LA, Allen Hymel (Rose) of Vacherie, LA and Nolan Hymel (Eleanor) of Vacherie, LA; and his grandchildren, Ethan (Claire Peltier), Hannah, Emma (Ainsley Hymel) and Nicole (Allison Stiffler). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
