She was predeceased by: her husbands, Clinton Didge Shivers and William Ray McQuiston; her children, Steven Wayne Shivers and John Hoyt Shivers; and her sister Willie Mae Backstrom.
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Cougill (Al) of Lanett; and her brother Wilbur Davis (Bertha) of Valley. She is also survived by 2 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren.
