We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2021, at the age of 93, Edwin Norman Jr. of Lafayette, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin, Sr. Norman and Olita May Boudreaux Norman; his son Phillip Norman, Sr.; and his siblings, Herbert, Sherbert, Roseville, Kerbert, Clarence Norman, Florence Bushnell, Hilda Perry, Calvina Wiltz, Rose Roy, Wilda Trahan, Dorothy Norman and Velma Arceneaux.
He is survived by: his pets, Lady and Queenie; his grandsons, Phillip Norman, Jr. (Kaylen Alexander) of Lafayette, Darnell Norman (Delani Duhon) of Lafayette, Devon Tré Norman of Lafayette and Dominique Norman of Lafayette; his daughter-in-law Lori Norman of Lafayette; his sister Olita May Narcisse of La Marque, TX; his great grandchildren, Lauren, Nyla, Dorrell, Payton, Elijah, Aubrey, Zaiden, Sia, Landon and Ezra; his aunt Kimberly Bernard; and also Nurse Kaylen Alexander. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was the inspiration behind the popular local business "D's Tea", founded by his grandson Darnell Norman and fiancée Delani Duhon, in part to address the health needs of friends and family, the local community and first responders during the pandemic.
