He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Eddie Brooks (Veronica) of Opelika, AL, Jessie Brooks (Kim) of Covington, GA, Brenda Brooks of Opelika, AL and Dennis Brooks (Natalie) of Oxford, GA; his siblings, Helen Holloway of LaFayette, AL, Doris Thomas (William) of LaFayette, AL, Louise Askew (Melvin) of LaFayette, AL, Marie Carlisle of Lanett, AL and Willie C. Holloway of LaGrange, GA; his sisters-in-law, Ocie Brooks of Auburn, AL, Bobbie Jackson of Auburn, AL, Fannie Cooper of Auburn, AL, Arlean Ross and Gloria Pittman (Anthony) of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Bruntavis, Shanicqua, Shanaebia, Justin, DeAndra, Shaffeka, Samaria, Allison and Dennis, Jr.; his great grandchildren, Kaleah, Bruntavion, Trevion, Samuel, Kaden and Micha; his grandsons, Kion and Jijuan; and his close friend Bobby Lee Banks. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
