He was predeceased by: his father Grady Rodney Harmon; his grandparents, W. G., Laura Lee Harmon, T. R. and Hazel Finley; his uncle George Kenneth; and his aunt Linda W. Harmon.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Finley Harmon; his children, Laura Elizabeth Harmon, Levi Finley Harmon and Brian Stewart; his siblings, Susan Harmon (Jerrold), Leigh Harmon Richardson (Jerry) and Woody Harmon (Debbie); his nieces and nephews, Jessica Harmon, Lacy Kilgore, Blake Whitman (Cat), Thomas Harmon (Ali) and Austin Harmon (Annie); and his cousins, Wendell Harmon (Lisa) and Alan Harmon.
