He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Burty Edmondson and Homer Edmondson; his wife Sylvia; his children, Pam Powers of Valley Grand and Danny Edmondson of LaFayette, Alabama.; and his siblings, Ronnie Edmondson and Carol Scott Fredonia. He was also cherished by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations be made to the Auburn Bethany House, 1171 Gateway Drive Building 100, Auburn, AL, 36830.
