He was predeceased by: his parents, Donnie Strickland and Barbara Strickland; his son LCpl Jeffrey Brandon Strickland; and his sister Deirdra Strickland Odeneal. He is survived by: his daughter Emily Strickland (Caleb) of Phenix City, AL; his stepchildren, Richard Scott (Karlettia) of Columbus, GA and Jessica James (Curtis) of Spanaway; his siblings, Norman Strickland (Bill) of Las Vegas, NV, Darryell Strickland (Dawn) of Las Vegas, NV, Debbie Chism (Jimmy) of Opelika, AL and Darron Strickland (Brandy) of Opelika; and his granddaughters, Savannah, Karen, Katie and Julie James. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
