It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dencil Hope of Lafayette, Alabama, who passed away on January 16, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ollie Mae Hope; his daughter Susan; and his son-in-law Joe Day. He is survived by: his wife Frances M. Hope; his sons, Phillip "Bubba" Hope (Diane) of Lanett and Michael Hope (Lisa) of Boaz; his grandchildren, Constance Robinson (Jason) of Lanett, Cody Hope (Hannah) of Lanett, Grayson Hope (Bailey) of Madison, Elese White (Cade) of Geraldine, Ethan Hope of Boaz, Bailee Bowen (Austin) of Lincoln and Casen Bowen Piedmont (Trista); and his great grandchildren, Jay, Braylon, Ansley, Lily, Camilla, Haven and Eli.
The family will accept flowers or donations may be made in Mr. Hopes' memory to Log a Load for Kids.
