She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Turner and Fannie Turner; and her spouse Johnnie Earnest Black. She is survived by: her children, Raymond Morgan (Azrine), Christopher Black (Theresa), Dale Black (Barbara), Sharon Cockrell (Jon), Sandra Brooks (Ricky) and Stephanie Smith (Stan); and her siblings, Malinda Cason, Margaret Stevens (Nehemiah), Fannie Samuel (Arthur), Kathy Anthony (Charles), Charlie Robinson, Jerry Turner (Crystal), Ricky Turner (Tiffany), Dan Turner (Rhonda), Charlie Bell Floyd and Mary Floyd. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and countless nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church (14733 US-280 W, Smiths Station, AL 36877).
