It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Edge Wheeler of LaFayette, Alabama, who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Edge and Sara Edge. She is survived by: her husband Nicholas Wheeler, III; her daughter Leigh Ellen Fuller Browning (Brad); her sister Virginia Edge Heath (Randy); her niece Paige Heath Butler (Jaime); her stepson Nicholas Wheeler, IV (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Emma, Eryn Wheeler, Owen and Julie Ann Wilson; and her nephews, Jackson and Parker Butler.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cornerstone First Global Methodist Church (310 Green St, Alexander City, AL 35010). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Global Methodist Church (310 Green St, Alexander City, AL 35010). A graveside service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the LaFayette City Cemetery.
Donations can be made in her memory to Tallapoosa Caring Refuge, 2036 Cherokee Road, Alexander City, AL 35010, or to a favorite charity; flowers will be accepted, also.
