He is survived by: his wife Carrie Jones Avery of LaFayette, AL; his children, Tammy Briskey of LaFayette, AL, Lakesha Brooks (Victor) of LaFayette, AL and Timothy White of LaFayette, AL; his stepson Luther Briskey of LaFayette, AL; his siblings, Josephine Avery of LaFayette, AL, Shirley Huguley (Nick) of LaFayette, AL and Robert Avery of LaFayette, AL; his grandchildren, Dewanduez of LaFayette, AL, Destiny of LaFayette, AL, Demaya of LaFayette, AL, Dyshonta Briskey of LaFayette, AL, Zykeriah of Opelika, AL and Kyleriah Briskey of Opelika, AL; his great grandchildren, Ah'king Foster of LaFayette, AL and Ah'mya Briskey of LaFayette, AL; and also Cartino Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
