He is survived by: his mother Judy Benoit Choplin; his children, Dillan Choplin, Devin Choplin, Delaney Choplin and Dailey Choplin; his siblings, Jerry Choplin (Krisa), Chad Choplin (Nikki) and Monica Fockler (Jonathon); his half-sister Lisa Latiolais; his grandchildren, Brooklynn Choplin, Addlynn Choplin, Weston Credeur, Elyse Sigranelli and Brian Bennett Choplin; his nephews, Tre Choplin, Brody Choplin, Ashtin Choplin, Gage Choplin, Caden Choplin and Jon Paul Fockler; and his niece Kirsten Choplin.
