He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Leslie and Nora Peace; his siblings, William "Bud" Peace, Helen Geickles, Mae Woodfin and Billie Peace; his daughter Redia Gail Peace Summerford; his son-in-law Willie Edward "Bill" Sharp; his grandsons, Christopher Glen Summerford and Daniel Sharp; and his great grandchild McKinley Rae Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Louise Greenhaw Peace; and his children, Leslie Wayne Peace, Anthony Dale Peace, Paul Wayne Sanford, Johnny Staten, Bill Summerford, Selena Sharp, Virginia Summerford, Walnetia Noe and Taledia Murphy.
