He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Boney Ragan and Olive Medley Ragan; his children, Regina Nayman (Greg) and Jackie Davis; his brother Ray Ragan (Lavonne); his grandchildren, Shea Oden (Chris), Brandie Davis, Austin Davis (Dana), Nikki Nayman and Lauren Davis; his wife Thelma Davis Ragan; his sons, Jim Davis and Tim Davis; and his siblings, Earl Ragan, G. W. Shavers, Harold Shavers, Edna McCann, Bernice Mathis, Tommie Smith, Hazel Porter, Frances Shavers, Jennie Sullivan and Joyce Lamb. He was also cherished by 5 great grandchildren.
